Strong Voice, Soft Heart

Many high performers were taught to be strong—or silent.
Speaking up often came with guilt, fear, or the risk of being misunderstood. So we stayed quiet. We complied. We internalized.
But being kind doesn’t mean staying small.
🛠 Try this:
- **The “Inner Voice Check”** – Before you speak, ask: “Is this my truth, or my habit?” Say the truth kindly.
- **Use “I Notice, I Need” Statements** – e.g. “I notice I feel rushed. I need a moment to think.”
- **Voice Warm-Up** – Each morning, say one sentence out loud that affirms your worth. For me it’s ‘My Worth is My Life’
Your voice was never the problem. Your silence was survival. Now it's time to speak from power, not protection.
Next time: a mindset tip from the front lines.
With you, Isabelle.
Happiness Iz… Being Kind to Your Own Mind.
